Chikyû Hiroba (Global Plaza), The Nagaoka International Affairs Center is a place where residents of
Nagaoka and international friends from every corner of the globe can come
and work together to enjoy various exchange programs.
The Center provides a wide range of information. International residents can find support for daily living. Everyone is welcome to get involved in fun events and activities here. |

The information bulletin boards set up at the International Affairs Center
(Chikyû Hiroba) are now renewed. In order to make the bulletin boards more useful, the
eight different sections are provided for those who:
*want to buy items.
*want to sell items.
*want to give away.
*are interested in unwanted items.
*want to exchange items.
*want to offer assistance.
*need assistance.
and information on events and group activities. How about sharing information with people from all over the world at the International Affairs Center (Chikyû Hiroba)? |
| Mini-Library and Internet Corner |

Books in English, reference materials for studying overseas, and publications
& videos about international exchange programs & information on
overseas are accessible to visitors. In addition to THE DAILY YOMIURI,
the International Affairs Center has been currently subscribing 人民日報/THE
PEOPLE'S DAILY in Chinese and The International Press in Portuguese.
A computer with internet service is also available.

| Consultation and Meeting Corner |

International residents can find support for daily living at the counter or in the consultation room. Assistance is available in Chinese, English, and Portuguese.
Daily Life Consultation for International Residents:
English: Anytime during business hours
Portuguese: Sunday between 1p.m and 5p.m
Chinese: Sunday between 2p.m and 6p.m
Making an appointment for a consultation is not necessary. However, please call us in advance to make sure a consultant (Portuguese/Chinese) is available. |

The Nagaoka International Affairs center (Chkyu Hiroba) has been set up,
aiming to create a community where eeveryone with multi-cultural backgrounds
can come together and participate in a wide variety of activities.
The staff of the Nagaoka International Affairs Center is available during
the following hours:
Weekdays 8:30 a.m. - 7:00 p.m.
Saturday, Sunday, and Holidays 9:00 a.m. - 6:30 p.m.
Closed: December 29th - January 3rd
